Téa Einarsen is a Lummi American director based in New York City. She graduated with a B.F.A in Directing and Arts Management from Long Island University Post. The theater she creates aims to take complex, human, messy, and difficult topics, transforming them into stories everyone can access and relate to. Colorful with a gothic underbelly, Téa has been deeply influenced by the horror and whimsy found in Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Shirley Jackson, and Sofia Coppola. In addition, she reflects on cultural stories of her Lummi Tribal Elders that are embedded with teachings and morals.
